Emblem Solutions LLC V340U Review

The Emblem Solutions LLC V340U phone was released in February 2021. With plenty of choices for entry-level smartphones, this particular phone caught the attention of its performance ability and price points offered.

The device has another name called AT&T Fusion Z. It offers some interesting specs for a budget phone, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 215 processor, an HD+ display and a 3,300mAh battery.

Emblem Solutions LLC V340U Phone

The Emblem Solutions V340U features a large and sturdy build. It’s an average-looking phone with a slightly bulkier build. Due to its big battery, this phone is quite heavy. But, it is still slim enough to fit into most people’s pockets.

The front design somehow reminded us of smartphones in the past. The phone is surrounded by bezels, but it comes thinner in the right and left. This condition provides more room for the screen, giving a wide illusion. It looks cleaner than any other budget phone.

The back cover design is simple and minimalist. It is equipped with a non-removable cover. On the back, you can find a rear camera and LED flash. Below, you can find the speakers. Unfortunately, the Emblem Solutions V340U lacks color options. It comes in a Matrix Blue color with a geometric pattern as a little variation.

Emblem Solutions LLC V340U Display

The screen on the Emblem Solutions V340U is a 6-inch display with 1440 x 720 resolutions. Considering the price tag, the display size is quite large. It gives users enough room to do activities such as watching videos or playing casual games.

Another plus point of this smartphone is it features an HD+ quality. In short, it guarantees richer tones, sharper and more vibrant colors. The phone also accommodates a 268 PPI. It’s a great combo to provide a more satisfactory viewing experience.

The bigger the display screen, the greater the risk of external damage. Luckily, the screen of the Emblem Solutions V340U is protected by a Dragontail 2.5D glass layer. We suggest installing something stronger like tempered glass to prevent accidental cracks for added protection.

Emblem Solutions LLC V340U Camera

The Emblem Solutions V340U has two cameras, on the front and the back of the phone. Both of them are 5MP camera. Honestly, a 5MP doesn’t work in this era. At least, we can get an 8MP phone’s camera quality within the same budget.

If you are a photography enthusiast and camera is the main concern before buying a smartphone, you should give it a pass. Considering the prices and specs, don’t expect a high-quality photo’s results.

However, there are some features to improve the camera’s skills. An LED flash can help users take pictures in dark situations and the timer for taking a picture at the right time. The device also can record videos at 1080p at 30fps.

The internal storage of the Emblem Solutions V340U is 16GB. It’s not enough space, since you will be left with only half of it. The decrease of internal storage space is because smartphones are pre-installed with bloatware. You can only save a small number of apps and files.

Fortunately, the device allows users to expand their external storage space. You can increase it by using external storage (MicroSD)up to 64GB. You need to buy it separately to achieve this. Besides that, you can delete some of the bloatware as an alternative way to save more memory.

Emblem Solutions LLC V340U Side View

The Emblem Solutions V340U is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 215. The processor is designed for an entry-level smartphone that has low specifications. It delivers better network ability and power efficiency.

The Quad-core chipset runs at a processing speed of 1.3GHz. If you are hoping for outstanding results, it’s not the best choice. However, it can run smoothly without any struggle for everyday phone activities.

With 2GB RAM, the Emblem Solutions V340U stores all the temporary memory from apps you’ve opened. RAM is very crucial for smartphones. A 2GB RAM is a basic spec for most budget phones. As expected, it has some disadvantages. This device is limited to using sophisticated and heavy apps. But, you can regularly clear cache data to free up RAM space.

As for the Operating System, the Emblem Solutions V340U is supported by Android 10 Go Edition. This OS is a Google-based OS specifically designed for low spec phones. It offers simplicity, a better interface, and fast performance.

We can enjoy Google apps and features that come in Go Edition in this version. These are Assistant Go, Google Go, Gallery Go, and so on. This dedicated OS will make the device run smoother and launch quicker. It also removed unnecessary features to save more internal storage spaces and less bloatware.

Lastly, the phone’s sensors have three different sensors. The Emblem Solutions V340U is equipped with the ambient light sensor, the proximity sensor, and the accelerometer sensor. Unfortunately, the fingerprint sensor is not available on this phone.

The fingerprint sensor would be very useful to easily access the phone. Besides, it can also put more security for the users while using this device. If you are concerned with security and extra protection, it is not what you are looking for.

The Emblem Solutions V340U can connect to the 4G LTE network. To activate the network, install the Nano SIM card beforehand. This network is a great choice since almost everywhere can access this kind of network. As an alternative, you have the option to use Wi-Fi features to connect to the internet without using cellular data.

Other connectivity features include Bluetooth, USB port, and mobile hotspot. With a Bluetooth connection, we can go wireless easily anywhere. Sadly, the Bluetooth connection is still using the older version 4.2.

The USB port allows you to transfer data and charge the phone quickly with the help of the USB-C port. Lastly, the device comes with a mobile hotspot. It lets you share the internet connection with up to 10 different devices.

The Emblem Solutions V340U has a 3,300mAh non-removable battery for long-lasting power. At this size, the phone can withstand a talk time of up to 16 hours, and the phone can stand by for up to 341 hours. The non-removable battery gives extra benefit. It will give more durability to the battery and won’t get easily damaged by external factors.

Unfortunately, the charging time is not ideal for today’s smartphones. The device is not supported by fast charging, so it will take time to fill up the power battery. For us, it is not something we’re surprised about since it is an entry-level smartphone.

Is the Emblem Solutions LLC V340U a good phone?

In this Emblem Solutions LLC V340U phone review, we’ve seen how this device has its pros and cons. There are no jaw-dropping features. The features and appearance are average and standard for a budget phone.

However, for a $39 phone, we think this phone is still worth buying. Sure, it has some weaknesses. But, the large battery capacity and an HD+ screen are considerable. It is also operated by a lightweight Android 10 Go operating system to make more stable performance.

Some features may need improvements. After all, it is quite reliable as a basic communication device. We can use it to chat, browse the internet, or call without much struggle.
