Emblem Solutions LLC V341U Review

Released in February 2021, the Emblem Solutions LLC V341U, also known as AT&T Motivate, is another option for entry-level smartphones. It offers affordable prices and features some basic specifications.

The Emblem Solutions V341U is powered by a 3,300mAh battery and equipped with a 2MP front camera and a 5MP rear camera. It has standard features such as a 1.3GHz Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 215 at its processor.

There are some compromises if you’re going to buy a low-price smartphone. Unfortunately, the Emblem Solutions V314U doesn’t support a fingerprint sensor like the latest Android phone.

Let’s see the full explanation of the Emblem Solutions LLC V314U phone review.

Design

Emblem Solutions LLC V341U Phone

The Emblem Solutions V341U comes in a wide-screen with the dimensions 159 x 76 x 8.9mm. The phone is slightly bulky and heavy, but you can still put it in most people’s pockets. You also can do anything else since you can hold the phone single-handedly.

The phone features an LED screen on the front side and is surrounded by bezels. The bezels on the top and bottom are significantly thicker than the left and right ones. There are also sensors, receivers, and of course, the front camera.

The back cover is made out of plastic material; this area holds the camera, the speaker, and the logo. The phone color option is minimal since it’s only available in blue color. Beyond its look, the phone build quality is average.

Display

Emblem Solutions LLC V341U Display

The Emblem Solutions V341U supports a 6-inch display screen with resolutions of 1440 x 720. The display size gives users the experience to explore the device. For a budget-friendly phone, it’s an added value.

Besides that, an HD+ display screen feature is installed on the Emblem Solutions V314U. This ensures users can enjoy a decent, vibrant, and accurate color output. The sharpness won’t do any good, but after all, the resolution is quite enough for an entry-level.

The LCD screen was already protected with Dragontrail™ glass, a scratch-resistant protector. Still, we recommend getting additional coatings like Gorilla or tempered glass for extra protection.

Camera

Emblem Solutions LLC V341U Camera

The Emblem Solutions V341U is equipped with 5MP rear camera and 2MP front camera. Honestly, it isn’t the most ideal camera quality compared to other phones in this era. As we know, today, the dual-camera is a new hype for a phone.

For us, the camera quality has standard specs at this range. It’s very okay to capture everyday moments. Still, if you want more professional photo results, we advise you to say goodbye to this phone.

However, you can get a better quality photo if you take the picture in a well-lit environment. You can also use the LED flash to help improve the camera’s results in dark settings. Again, the details will get blurry when the photo is zoomed in due to its low resolution.

Storage

The Emblem Solutions V341U is equipped with 16GB internal storage. It is considered a bare minimum on smartphones. Even worse, users can only use around 10GB out of 16GB to save their apps and data since the phone comes with preloaded apps. It isn’t enough.

You can choose an expandable storage option with a microSD card for this issue. You can install up to 64GB of expandable memory to store your music, photos, and other types of files.

This external storage is sold separately, so you need another additional expense. Whether you like it or not, we think you should consider this option to use your phone comfortably.

Performance

Emblem Solutions LLC V341U Side View

The Emblem Solutions V341U relies on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 215 coupled with 2GB RAM in the task performance area. This combo is certainly designed for an entry-level phone with low specifications. However, it helps to improve the 4G connectivity support and make the phone’s powers more efficient.

To be frank, a 2GB RAM doesn’t work well, especially for today’s digital activities. It may not be optimal for intense activity such as running gigantic-size games or online shopping. The best solution for this issue is regularly clearing the phone’s cache after using the apps to leave some room in RAM.

The processor runs on a 1.3GHz Quad-core chipset. This feature can help the phone to run some daily phone apps smoothly. But unfortunately, the CPU is not strong enough for heavy-duty activities. Multitasking by stacking some apps is not recommended since it can cause delays.

The Emblem Solutions V314U operates on Android 10 Go Edition OS. This OS is different from the usual Android 10. It runs lighter and is suitable for entry-level smartphones with 2GB RAM or lower. The Android 10 Go Edition also can launch faster. The best part is the Go version comes with Google’s apps such as Google Go, Assistant Go, Gallery Go, and many more.

As for the sensor features, the Emblem Solutions V314U has some standard sensors. These are light sensors for adjusting the phone’s brightness, an accelerator sensor to detect any movements and shift the phone’s mode from landscape to portrait, and a proximity sensor to detect the closeness of any object to the smartphone without physical contact.

Sadly, the Emblem Solutions V314U doesn’t come with a fingerprint sensor. In our opinion, it’s a disadvantage since we all need extra security and more convenient features to save us a lot of time and support our activities.

Connectivity

The Emblem Solutions V314U stays connected with the support of the 4G LTE Network. This phone supported a Nano SIM card to activate cellular connections. The network is enough for users to get clear and loud voices.

If you can’t connect to the data connection, this phone also enables users to switch to the Wi-Fi network by activating the Wi-Fi features. Other than that, the Emblem Solutions V314U comes with Bluetooth to connect with external Bluetooth devices such as earphones, speakers, some files, or even home appliances.

A GPS feature is also provided and valuable enough for you to find locations. Lastly, transferring any files to/from PC using cable will be easier using a USB Type-C connections.

Battery

The Emblem Solution V341U is powered by a 3,300mAh, non-removable battery. The battery size is quite big at this range and, expectedly, can last until the end of the day. It is enough for 16 hours of talk time and up to 340 hours of standby time.

The battery type is non-removable. It has better durability than the removable ones, which means the battery rarely gets damaged by external factors.

On the downside, the phone doesn’t support fast charging, so charging time will take some time. Nevertheless, it is an entry-level smartphone. We can’t expect something fancy for the features.

Is the Emblem Solutions LLC V341U a good phone?

From the Emblem Solutions LLC V341U review above, we’ve seen the pros and cons of this phone. Since it’s targeted at entry-level consumers, some features are pretty okay. For example, the HD+ display quality is still enjoyable for consumers. The Android 10 Go Edition operating system is also enough to get a smoother and lighter work.

The price of the Emblem Solutions V341U is $49, which is too expensive for us. But, at this moment, the price is discounted to only $24, and it’s an excellent deal. In our opinion, some features still lack improvements, especially the low-quality camera and standard RAM spaces.

Pros:

  • Long-lasting battery
  • Good display quality
  • Android 10 Go Edition

Cons:

  • Small internal storage
  • Low-quality camera
  • Small RAM capacity
