Sleek and curved design with the bar form factor makes this phone good to look at. Measured at 5.70” x 2.90” x 0.31” and 4.79 ounces, this phone will fit perfectly in people palm. The size and character of the phone feel so solid and that is a good start.

The 5 inches TFT LCD screen of this phone is the common screen size for modern smartphone so there is no surprise in there. But unfortunately, the screen resolution is only 854 x 480 pixels. While it looks just fine in a glimpse, the resolution is actually below the average. Most smartphone with that screen size usually use HD resolution and it simply means the quality of picture show up on this phone’s screen is not that good.

LG Rebel 2 use Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) as its operating system. While it was not the latest version in the market, it still works nicely and opens up the possibility of accessing hundreds of great app in Play Store.

Being LG product, LG Rebel 2 uses LG’s UI. In this case, it uses LG UX 5.0 which distinct this smartphone from another phone that comes from another brand.

Just like most smartphone this day, LG Rebel 2 carried two cameras. But unlike other smartphone that uses different resolution on their camera, this phone build with the same 5 MP resolution on both rear and front camera. It also equipped with various camera modes, autofocus, cheese shutter, gesture shot and more feature that makes it so much fun to use.

As for the video recording feature, the camera on this phone can record video at 1920 x 1080 pixels at 30 fps.

To make things run as it should be, LG equipped LG Rebel 2 with Quad Core 1.1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 MSM8909 processor and 1 GB RAM. It is not too much but not too little as well, which means it can give people decent performance and also support multitasking.

The internal storage is available for 8 GB although only 3.92 GB usable. For more storage room, LG Rebel 2 support MicroSD that can keep for up to 32 GB more files.

The user of this phone doesn’t have to worry about any connectivity issue. The phone support 4G LTE to ensure the user that they will get a high-speed internet connection.

Other means of connectivity that is available in this phone are Bluetooth version 4.1 A2DP, microUSB and also A-GPS.

LG used Lithium-ion 2500 mAh battery for this phone. The battery is removable so it is easy to replace it when the need arise.

The battery should be able to last for around 12 hours talk time and 11 days of standby time. Of course, it depends on network connectivity and application use. But in general, the ability to stay up to 12 hours talk time is average.

It seems like that this phone has everything in order. While nothing is really stand out about this phone, so far nothing is really disappointing as well, other than the lower resolution screen. Everything else works well enough to satisfy most people need. Its sleek design and personal UI, which is part of LG signature is a plus point of this phone, which works great for some people.
